*(Long story, Comments welcome)*

The water and the sky appeared to have a ghastly gray hue to it, as all things appeared to Sylvia on this day. She sat upon a bench looking out over the river in Britain. A soft sigh escaped from between her lips. If one was to gaze into her eyes, they would see pain, and remorse. Sylvia's heart was broken, and it all started three days ago. Though she tried to remove the events from her mind, they kept reappearing and reenacting over and over .Sometimes Sylvia didn't even have to close her eyes, because the pain of the loss, made her see the events in color ...

Three Days before..

Day One:

Sylvia was in a very excited state of mind, she had just been invited by her best friends Lord Justin Sane, and Lady Izzy Sane to go on a great adventure. They were going to hunt and recover the infamous dread horn. She was told it would be a wickedly dangerous adventure, but one filled with treasure and excitement. And Sylvia's friends knew those were two things that she really enjoyed. She had seen Lady Lihannan earlier that morning, as she left the bank, going on her daily hunting trip. Sylvia really admired Lihannan, because she was so brave and so strong, always off hunting in different areas of the world. She hoped one day that she would be as brave as “Lih” the nickname that everyone in Sylvia's guild called her.

Sylvia belonged to the Serpents Of the Sea Guild. It was a group of sea merchants, that loved to travel and find treasure and loot. Their leader was Lord Drotte, who was a fair Captain at times, other times he was a very silly one. The whole guild loved Drotte though, they knew that he would go out of his way to help them no matter what the need was! They just wished he was home more instead of always off on a sea journey, but they understood how the sea called to him, and how it lived within Drotte's heart. Sylvia knew that when Drotte was on the sea, he drank less grog than when he was stuck on land. Sylvia could remember sometimes when Drotte had way too much grog, he kept this pet “Rock” Of his, and would carry it around in his right hand. At any moment he would raise the rock and start attacking people with it, for no reason! The whole crew knew to stay away from Drotte when he had way too much to drink. For they knew that once the captain started to hammer down on your head with that “Rock” then he didn't stop!!

Sylvia loved the water, in all shape and forms, though lately she ended up on land more than water.

Lady Izzy Sane was a part of her guild, though her husband Lord Justin Sane wasn't. Justin was a man of independence, and solemness, though he helped out the guild family any time they needed the help, he still refused to wear the colors of any guild, not just Serpents Of the Sea. There was a wild streak in Justin, that Sylvia knew kept him from belonging to any one place, except in the heart of Izzy Sane. He reminded her of her sister, Luna Silverstar's husband Allon Silverstar. Most everyone in the cities knew Luna, but hardly anyone knew of her Husband Allon Silverstar. He was of elven decent, and usually was found out in the woods some place or off on a adventure. Though Justin was a loud and humorous man, often telling jokes and picking on those around him. Allon was a solemn and quiet guy. He preferred to stay out of the center of attention, and to watch everything from the sidelines, this made Allon smart, and dangerous.
Though Justin was always in the middle and always making folks laugh, everyone knew that he was still a force to be taken seriously at times. He was very strong and very dangerous.

Izzy Sane, was one of the most beautiful ladies in the land, and her generous heart was known world wide. Sylvia always felt so grateful to have her for a friend. She spent many days with Izzy, hunting, and gathering resources for the crafters in the guild. Sometimes others mistakenly took Izzy's ways as being ditsy, but Sylvia knew that Izzy wasn't ditsy at all, that she had a very cool and level head on her shoulders. Though Sylvia often wondered how Izzy could put up with Justin for so long!

Sylvia felt very lucky to have such a wonderful guild family. She thought about the many faces within the guild, as their names went through her head,
Lihannan, Izzy Sane , Luna Silverstar * Sylvia's Sister*, Drandil, Drotte *Sylvia's Brother*, Remo Blair ,*Sylvia's beloved husband *,Allon Silverstar * Luna's Husband*,Terrage, Raine, Peg Leg Sam, Sir AJ *Sylvia's Son*, Hai Lin, Crystal *Luna's Daughter*, Carmorel, Mar'ta, Rae Lynn, Kalee *Sylvia's Daughter*, Xtremers, Yuka Cho, Fairdre, Hyruth, Storm, Ethyl Snake, Rose Petal, Ysane, Flinty. There was one member that Sylvia truly missed, that was her sister Moonie, who had left on a adventure, and decided to stay where she went. Sylvia understood that Moonie found herself a place of enjoyment, and though she wished Moonie well, Sylvia deeply missed her.

Sylvia checked her sandal strap, as she sat with Frizzy her pet beetle waiting on Izzy and Justin to arrive. She had been training Frizzy, since she was just a baby beetle, watching her grow in strength and might. She was planning on mating Frizzy with Luna's beetle Chomper. Chomper was a exceptional beetle, that Luna had trained since he was a baby. Sylvia couldn't wait to see the offspring of such two wonderful beetles. Sylvia loved her sister Luna, she had never met a kinder, or more beautiful woman than Luna Silverstar. Luna was a very brave lady, though at times she was ditsy, she was still respected and admired by many through out the land, and she was always there to help Sylvia no matter what.

As Sylvia sat waiting on her friends, she pondered over the Gods of the land. She had met many, and witnessed a lot of amazing things that the Gods had done in the land. She loved the beautiful colored they were always arrayed in. They were all very generous and very kind, even the one called Dark Soul. He appeared to most as a evil and vile God, but Sylvia saw past that, she saw a power and strength within him that out shown the evil. But she knew not to cross him or anger him, for his punishment was death, and at times it was his enjoyment to see the mortals succumb to it.

Lady Panthera was beautiful, and generous with a warm heart and smile for everyone, even in the face of horrible events, the Goddess always had a kind word, or a special smile. Sylvia loved Lady Emerald, and Lady Lexxus who was the Cow Goddess, though Sylvia couldn't figure out what was so important about Cows, she loved to stare at Lady Lexxus beautiful lavender gowns. Though Sylvia admired all the Gods/ Goddess she had her pick of favorites.
One of her most favorites was Lady Celestra. She was the Goddess of Goodness, and she was splendid in her white robes, and silvery glowing lights. Sylvia searched the world over looking for a gown, of the fine heavenly white like Lady Celestra's but to no avail did she ever find one. She kept searching though, keeping her heart and soul in it.

Her second favorite, was Lady Emerald, whom Sylvia remembered meeting not long after arriving within the land. She had a glorious green about her, that at times reminded Sylvia of the leaves shinning in the sunshine. Sylvia was enamored with Lady Lexxus Lovely Lavender and Lady Panthera's beautiful blue.
But her heart and soul was pulled to the White of Goodness, and the Silvery Green of the forest.
There was only one other color that Sylvia loved above all other colors, and that was Yellow. The only God she saw so far that wore such a wonderful sunny color, was Lord Gilean. As far as Sylvia could tell, he was the God that kept the land working, he seemed to be extremely smart, and knew exactly what it took to keep things moving in a smooth and even way.

“What are you thinking so deeply about sweetheart?? Me??” Came the humorous voice of Justin, intruding into Sylvia's thoughts. “In your dreams! “ Was Sylvia's quick retort, followed by her soft chuckle, as she jumped up and ran towards Izzy she could hear Justin's deep laugh. She wrapped her arms around Izzy giving her a big “HUG”. “How are you today Izzy?? Has this big handsome lug been treating you right??” Sylvia asked with a twinkle in her eye. She knew without a doubt that Justin treated Izzy with such care one would think she was made of glass. “I am good today Sylvia, thank you for asking. It is so good to see you, and that you can adventure with us! I have missed you!” came Izzy's softly spoken words. Sylvia always thought she could hear music every time that Izzy spoke, her voice had such a melodious sound to it.

“ I spoke to Luna last night, she was telling me of some trouble with one of her vendors. I tell you good help is hard to find now days!” Sylvia told Izzy. “Yes that it is, keep me informed of the vendor troubles, I would hate to think of mine and Justin's vendors giving us trouble.” Izzy told Sylvia, as a small frown appeared on her forehead from worry.

“Ladies.. “ Bellowed out Justin, as he cleared his throat with a more than necessary loud growl. “ Time to go!” Justin knew if he didn't get on the road now, then he would be there all evening listening to Izzy and Sylvia catch up on female chatter. The two women giggled, and climbed upon the backs of their steeds. Izzy rode her polar bear, and Sylvia climbed up on the back of Frizzy, her golden beetle. Justin was already riding off on his pink unicorn. Sylvia didn't understand his love of the color pink, but even Justin's skin had a bright pinkish hue to it.

“Men..” Mumbled Sylvia, as Izzy nodded in agreement, and they set off on their journey...

They traveled many miles, some of the miles they used magic runes, and spells of magery to get them to their destination. They came upon a mountain, in the land of Ishlenar. Sylvia noticed a cave, and Justin headed for it. “This is the mushroom cave.” Justin informed the ladies. Sylvia had never been here before so she was very amazed by it all. From the mushroom cave, they then traveled to a place filled with mystical creatures, and strange looking monsters. Which began to attack everyone!. Frizzy wanted out from under Sylvia so that she could protect her.

Sylvia eased off of Frizzy, and was so very proud to see her beetle, trying to defend everyone against the monsters. Justin called upon his mighty dragons Kooshi, and Pepper, to come and help Frizzy fight the monsters. Sylvia watched as Izzy and Justin used their amazing archery skills to help slay the beast. Sylvia called from deep within, and pulled out the energy of her spirit, using it to cast spells to help aid in healing of the animals, and to help harm the monsters. She was so very proud of this new skill that she had learned. Spirit speaking they called it, and it was amazing that you could pull that kind of energy out from within your own body.

Finally Justin told them that they had enough components to be able to open the gate to get to the Dreadhorn. So Sylvia, Izzy and Justin gathered around the little statue, and waited on the gate to appear.

She blinked her eyes, as the magical blue lights of the gate began to twinkle. “It's here she called out!” as Justin and Izzy turned to look. “Wait!!” Justin called, out, “ let me and my dragons go first!”. Sylvia knew it must be very dangerous for Justin to need to take the lead, so her and Izzy hung back allowing him and the dragons to enter the gate first. Sure enough, as they walked through the gate, they were under attack!. It was a ghastly battle, but in the end, Justin, Izzy, and Sylvia overcame the monster, and were able to find the horn they sought.

Almost in the blink of a eye, they were magically transported back to the mushroom cave. Sylvia thanked her friends for such a wonderful adventure, and agreed to visit with them the next day. Her and Frizzy was worn out from the huge battle they had all just faced. Izzy and Justin told Sylvia good night, and they all used recall runes to go back to their homes.

Sylvia took Frizzy to the stables, and rubbed her down with a nice warm lather of soap. She then dried Frizzy off with a soft towel, all the while talking softly to Frizzy telling her what a great job she did that day and how proud she was of her. If Sylvia didn't know better, she would almost swear that Frizzy was smiling, perhaps the bond they shared allowed Sylvia to feel what Frizzy did.

Sylvia laid a clean blanket over Frizzy's back, giving the beetle a gentle hug. She sure loved Frizzy, Sylvia then walked out of the stables, carefully blowing out the torch on her way. She then climbed wearily up to her house, and went to bed. As her eyes started to close, she softly called out a “Good night Remo”, hoping that where ever he was off adventuring to, he could hear her. She then turned over and slept until morning..

Day Two:

Sylvia woke up with a fresh breeze blowing in through the windows. She could feel the coolness of the mountain air as it caressed her face. She stretched slowly, and then crawled out of bed. After taking a shower, she went down to the stables to awaken Frizzy. “Today we will go to Britain.” Sylvia told Frizzy, “For I have bank business to take care of.” Sylvia always liked to check on her gold daily at the bank, she still wasn't sure about placing it in the bank. She didn't know how safe it really was, and she had this natural instinct to horde the gold away in some cave or hidden area. But everyone kept telling her that the Loot would be fine in the bank.

“I will have to place ye on a leash today Frizzy, for the town folks aren't too happy about you running around loose.” Frizzy gave a sort of snort of indignation, but allowed Sylvia to use the leash on her. The leash was magical, and would shrink any animal, so that they may be placed within a backpack while traveling. It was always good to do while in town, being that the towns folks did not like animals running loose in the street.

Sylvia used a recall rune, to take her to the First Bank of Britain. After she went inside and took care of her business she left the bank. When she stepped outside on the street, she reached into her pack to grab Frizzy. When she unleashed Frizzy, she saw some white and blue mystical lights, and heard a strange music. Then Frizzy went “POOF”, and was gone. Sylvia blinked hard, and started to look around her feet, thinking maybe she just dropped her in the shrunken form that she was in. But as she searched the whole street, she could not find Frizzy no place. Tears started to form in Sylvia's eyes, as she called out Frizzy's name to no avail. She ran back and forth in front of the bank, searching for her beloved beetle. “No! Frizzy, where oh where can ye be?? “ Sylvia's' voice gave out a desperate cry.
“Please if any of the Gods/Goddess are listening, hear me now, my beloved beetle is missing!”

All of a sudden, Sylvia was blinded by a bright white light, and surrounded by a silvery glow. She fell to her knees, as a warmth enveloped her. Once the light dimmed down, Sylvia heard a magical voice speaking to her” Arise Sylvia, raise up and look at me, I have come to answer thy cry for help.” The warmth in the voice, drew Sylvia up off her knees. There before her was Lady Celestra, the Goddess of Goodness, Sylvia could hardly believe her eyes. “Oh thank ye M'lady for answering my call, My dear dear Frizzy has disappeared.” Sylvia told the goddess.

“Oh Sylvia, that tis very sad to hear, I shall search the world over to help find thy beetle. Keep your chin up, and stay strong, I am sure that she is around here some place.” The soft voice had a warming effect upon Sylvia. “Thank ye M'lady, Please tell me of anything that I can do to help ye.” Sylvia spoke softly as tears of relief fell from her cheeks. As quickly as the Goddess had appeared to Sylvia, she left.
Then Sylvia sent a courier pigeons off with messages to all her Guild mates about her beloved Frizzy missing.

Sylvia's guild family responded with condolences on her loss, they all knew how much the beetle meant to her. In fact her whole guild, were pet lovers, and took pride in raising them. To neglect a pet, of any kind was a outrage to them.

Sylvia was told by others to find a new pet to train, or to go hunting or on a adventure until Frizzy could be found. But her spirits were so low, that she didn't care to venture off to no place without her beloved beetle. Every place she went reminded her of Frizzy, and the things that they did together. It seemed that her shoulders started to slump more and more, as the day wore on.

Finally unable to kick the blues, she decided to go shopping at the local vendor market. Sylvia found all kinds of neat items for her home. But it still didn't bring about the happiness that she usually felt when shopping with Frizzy. It reminded her that Frizzy was always so helpful at carrying home the bargains they bought upon her back for Sylvia.

Sylvia went home and climbed sadly into bed for the night, she said her prayers to the God/Goddess. And blew Remo a kiss upon the wind. Sylvia wasn't sure where Remo was on this night, ever since he lost his horse, he hadn't been the same. Sometimes she found him in the casino gambling away all the hard earned gold that Sylvia found on her adventures. Other times she heard different tales of him being off with some unknown tribe, drinking lots of grog.

One day she went looking for Remo, and couldn't find him. She had sauntered upon a beach that she was told he was at. After looking the beach over she couldn't see hide nor hair of him, so she stood under a coconut tree to rest. She heard laughing and weird noises and smelled smoke. Sylvia looked up in the tree, there sat Remo and some unknown tribesmen, smoking on a peace pipe while laughing and drinking. Sylvia wondered how in the world did they manage to stay up in that tree. Yet with all his faults he was still her husband and she still loved him. She just wished he had never lost his horse, perhaps he would be a different man.

Sylvia, then dropped off into a deep and troubled sleep.

Day Three...

Sylvia awoke, and crawled out of bed, she got dressed and and then ran to the stables. Her eyes were lit up and a smile on her face, as she thought “ It was a dream, only a dream!” but as she opened the stable door, she knew it had not been a dream. Frizzy was no where's to be found in the stables.

“Perhaps she went back to Britain!” Sylvia knew really that Frizzy wasn't there but she had to keep hoping that she would be found. She knew that Lady Celestra would search the world over and eventually find her beloved Beetle.

Sylvia recalled to Britain bank, using her magery ability, and the Special Rune stone she always carried with her. But as she looked around the bank where she lost Frizzy, she became sadder and sadder, knowing that her beetle was not there. Sylvia walked over to the bank of the river, and sat down staring at the water...

A soft fluttering had her looking up, as a pigeon landed upon a limb of a small bush in front of her. Sylvia noticed that it had a message attached to its leg. She reached and took the message, and thanked the pigeon for it's services. As the pigeon flew off, she opened the missive.

“Hey Sweetheart, Come to your House. I have a surprise for you, that I know will cheer you up! Always, Justin” Sylvia read over the words, wondering what the clown was up to. She loved Justin as a brother, but she wasn't sure she was up to his clowning around this morning. Sometimes he could drive her crazy with his antics! But Sylvia knew that Justin always meant well, and he really cared what happened to her, so she used her rune to recall back to her house.

As she got there, she walked up her front steps, and saw Justin standing beside his pink unicorn. He smiled really big at her. “Why are you so gloomy looking? Aren't you glad to see me!” Justin laughed, with his deep chuckle sounding out. Sylvia didn't comment, just looked up at him. “You sent for me?” she asked with a sort of sorrowful tone.

“Aye m'dear, take a look at what I found for ye!” Justin reached into his pack, and withdrew a small satchel, and laid it upon the ground. Sylvia opened the sack slowly, not always sure if Justin would have something pop out of the bag or not. She blinked, as tears formed in her eyes, and slid down her cheek. “How?? Where??.. Oh Justin! “ Sylvia ran and hugged his neck, for inside the bag was a shrunken Frizzy. Was it really her, Sylvia wondered, could it be her beloved beetle?
She looked up at Justin with a wondering and questioning look in her eyes.

“Sure its her sweetheart, Lady Celestra and I found her, but the thing is she has lost all her training and skills, and you will have to work hard with her to regain those abilities. Lady Celestra found a way to make sure that she doesn't disappear no more. “ Justin told Sylvia, as his eyes twinkled brightly. Sylvia stared up at him in amazement, no wonder Izzy was so Crazy about this big lug!

“I almost lost my dragons also Sylvia, so I can imagine your pain, I would have felt horrible if I had lost my dragons. Thankfully the God Darksoul helped me to save my dragons, though I have to retrain them too. Izzy and I couldn't' stand to see you so sad Sylvia, we missed the happy go lucky adventurer friend of ours. I am glad that we could help you find your Frizzy again!” Justin Sane told Sylvia.

All of a sudden, Sylvia saw the bright silvery light, and she knew that Lady Celestra was about to bless them with her presence. “There little one, I hope this will help to console you. I am not sure why Frizzy went away as she did but perhaps this will bring about some enjoyment back to ye!” Lady Celestra looked at Justin, and he could have sworn she winked at him in a conspiratorial way.
As quickly as Lady Celestra appeared, she disappeared.

“Well time for me to go sweets, but if you need help training Frizzy again just send me a missive” Justin told Sylvia.

“Thank you so much Justin! And thank Izzy for me !” Sylvia called out to Justin as he started to ride away on his unicorn. Sylvia looked up at the sky, and softly whispered “ And thank you M'lady Celestra” Sylvia could almost swear that she saw a slight glimmer in the sky.

Sylvia was all excited to get to work on training Frizzy right away. She sent out missives to all her guild members letting them know the good news of Frizzy having been found.

She couldn't wait to raise Frizzy in abilities, and then mate her with Luna's Chomper, Sylvia took off with Frizzy in tow, for the forest.. “ I am glad your home Frizzy girl, I sure missed you. “ Sylvia told her beetle.

“Thank the Gods/Goddess for good friends and loved ones”
